About SĀMAYA Stillness

Rooted in Heritage. Refined for the Present.

SĀMAYA means time, balance, and sacred connection in Sanskrit.
We offer limited-edition ritual objects — not for transformation, but for transition.
From doing to being. From noise to quiet. From alert to at ease.

Each piece is curated in Switzerland and handcrafted in Nepal — tactile, timeless, and intentionally analog.
Ethically made. Carefully presented. Always limited.

SĀMAYA is not a wellness brand. It doesn’t promise solutions.
It offers pause — a quiet moment that asks nothing but attention.
A way to soften the edges of the day and return to yourself.

About the Founder

A Moment of Stillness, Reimagined

I’m Doma Sherpa — founder of SĀMAYA Stillness.
I grew up in the Himalayas, where ritual and presence were not practiced — they were simply part of daily life. Quiet, unspoken, and deeply rooted.

Years later, living in Europe, it became quieter around me but louder within.
Between screens and scattered thoughts, I began to long for something familiar:
A clear transition. A moment of stillness. A return.

I didn’t want more digital tools. I wanted less noise.
I began to gather analogue practices — small rituals that didn’t perform, but gently anchored. The slower I moved, the more I reconnected with the textures of my Himalayan heritage.

SĀMAYA is my way of weaving these worlds together.
A modern ritual. A tactile pause. A quiet bridge between cultures.
